How H&I Advisory Group, LLC collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.
May 19, 2026
1 · Who we are
H&I Advisory Group, LLC (“H&I,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at hi-advisory.com (the “Site”) and provides private-equity, M&A, and operating advisory services to founders, operators, and capital partners.
This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect when you visit the Site or contact us, how we use that information, and the choices available to you.
2 · Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the firm and reply to inquiries. Specifically:
- Information you provide. Your name, firm, email, phone number, and the contents of any message you send when you contact us by email or through the Site.
- Usage information. Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL — collected automatically when you load the Site.
- Cookies. The Site uses a minimal number of first-party cookies for basic functionality. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3 · How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation about a potential engagement.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with applicable law and to enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
4 · Confidentiality of deal information
Discussions of potential transactions, sector theses, and operating diligence are treated as confidential by default, whether or not a non-disclosure agreement has been signed. Information shared with us in the course of evaluating a transaction is used only for that purpose.
5 · Service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to run the firm — email, hosting, calendaring, and document storage. Each provider has access only to the information needed to perform its function, and is contractually obligated to protect it.
6 · Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, manage an ongoing engagement, or comply with our legal and tax obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by writing to dirk@hi-advisory.com.
7 · Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.
To exercise any of these rights, write to dirk@hi-advisory.com. We respond within thirty days.
8 · Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted to us.
9 · Children
The Site is not directed to children under the age of sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10 · Changes to this policy
We update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
